An employee was recovering refrigerant from a chiller inside a store and was attempting to put a pressure gauge on the 1/4" port of the chiller. The valve was missing a part, so refrigerant began to escape from the system when he removed the protective cap. He tried to use a rag to plug the valve and in the process sustained refrigerant burns on both of his hands. | |||||
